Donor Families

MTN considers all those who have given authorization for donation to be donor families.

Once an individual or family makes the decision to give the gift of life with an organ, tissue or cornea donation, MTN begins the donation process. This process encompasses myriad services available to the families of donors, including bereavement/emotional support, educational information on transplantation and possible communication with recipients. Donor family memorial services are held annually in Kansas City, Wichita, Columbia and Joplin.

Your experience as a donor family member is important to MTN. We value your feedback and continually seek to improve our services during the time of healing. We encourage all donor families to take a few minutes to share your thoughts. Please click here to complete the survey.
