Please join MTN staff and fellow donor families for a day of fun, food and friendship. Doors will open to registered Midwest Transplant Network (MTN) families at 9 a.m., and you can enjoy the zoo for the entire day. MTN events will begin in the Pavilion at 10 a.m., with boxed lunches being served at 11:30 a.m. Donate Life T-shirts will be available to purchase in the Pavilion for $5.
During the Pavilion events, each family will be able to honor their loved on by participating in our sand ceremony and receive a beautifully handcrafted stained-glass butterfly. The butterfly was adopted by the National Donor Family Council as a symbol of change, new life and hope.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we will not be able to have our button maker at the zoo. If you wish to have buttons made for future events, please bring a limit of 10 pictures to the zoo and staff will make the buttons and mail them to you once we return to the office.
Masks will be required to enter all buildings and indoor exhibits at the zoo. Guests are encouraged to maintain proper physical social distancing through the entire zoo. Learn more about the Sedgwick County Zoo and keep up to date on their Coronavirus efforts visit, https://scz.org
