National Donate Life Month Flag Raising

April is National Donate Life Month — a time to raise awareness about organ, eye and tissue donation, to encourage people to become registered donors, and to honor those who have saved lives through the gift of donation.

Midwest Transplant Network will have a flag-raising ceremony in support of National Donate Life Month and to celebrate donor heroes and transplant recipients.

The ceremony will include remarks from Jan Finn, RN, MSN, President & Chief Executive Officer, Midwest Transplant Network; followed by a donor family and transplant recipient raising the Donate Life America flag and a moment of remembrance with bubbles. Guests include MTN staff, volunteer Ambassadors, community partners such as city of Westwood, Saving Sight, Be The Match, National Kidney Foundation, Gift of Life, Community Blood Center, Jewish Family Services, St. James United Methodist Church and others.
