Partners in Saving Lives- EMS Symposium

Join Midwest Transplant Network (MTN) for a free symposium to learn how your work as an emergency medical professional can impact hundreds of lives through donation. We will highlight the organ and tissue donation process from referral to transplantation.

Topics Include:

  • Who can be a donor
  • How MTN works with local coroners and medical examiners
  • How tissue is utilized in surgery to enhance lives
  • Support provided to families after donation
  • The impact donation has on donor families

Continuing Education Unit Information:

Kansas: The University of Kansas Health System, as an approved program provider by the Kansas Board of EMS, approves this program for continuing education. Provider #PP5500. Adam Rowe, NR-EMT-Paramedic, Coordinator. * EMS continuing education credit hours will be determined upon completion of the program. Attendee must attend each session (or program) in its entirety.

Missouri: Missouri Board of EMS credit has been applied for and is pending approval.
