Celebration of Heroes

1 p.m. at Midwest Transplant Network,
1900 W. 47th Place, Westwood, KS 66205

The Celebration of Heroes is held each year to honor organ, eye and tissue donors and their families.  MTN presents each family with a beautifully handcrafted stained glass butterfly to honor their loved one.  Families also have the opportunity to pin their quilt square on the Donor Memorial Quilt during the celebration.  A video tribute to these heroes will highlight the celebration.  If you are attending the event and wish to share a photo of your loved one, please email a high-resolution photo to photos@mwtn.org not later than Wednesday, October 31.  Be sure to include your name and address, along with your loved one’s name and date of donation.  If you prefer, you may mail a high quality photo not larger than 5×7 to MTN with the same vital information.  All photos will be returned.  If your loved one’s photo has appeared in a previous video tribute and you will be in attendance at the Celebration, please email or call to let us know so we can include the photo in this years tribute.  Please register for this event below or contact Melissa Andersons at, manderson@mwtn.org or by phone at 913-261-7353 no later than Wednesday, October 31.
