Celebration of Heroes Wichita Area

Midwest Transplant Network invites you and your family to join us at Celebration of Heroes on April 15th, 2025

6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.

Equity Bank Park ( Formerly Riverfront Stadium)

275 S. Mclean Boulevard, Wichita, KS 67213

Join us as we gather to honor the lives and memories of  the incredible organ, eye, tissue and donors in spirit who have made such a profound impact on the lives of others through their gift of hope. This open house style event allows you to attend at your convenience between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served as we come together to celebrate and remember.

During this celebration, you will have the opportunity to:

• Participate in a memorial sand pouring ceremony
• Honor your loved one by bringing a quilt square and pinning it on the donor memorial quilt.  (If you do not have a quilt square, we will have supplies that you can take home to make one)
• View a touching video tribute celebrating the heroes who gave this gift of life
• Receive a beautifully hand crafted stained-glass heart as a tribute to your loved one
• Enjoy the performance of  live music from local string quartet, ” Bella Dolce Strings”

If you would like to include a photo of your loved one to be included in the video tribute, you may upload a photo when you submit your RSVP. To ensure your loved one’s photo is included, please RSVP no later than three days before the event.

We hope to see you at this special gathering as we honor your loved ones and celebrate the legacy of all donor heroes.
